Recent inductees, Lou Reed

Founded in November 13, 1985, Hollywood's Rock Walk is a collection of handprints, signatures, and memorabilia from Rock 'n Roll's greatest musical performers and innovators, who have contributed the most to forge the integrity and promote the growth of Rock 'n Roll as an art form.

All Hollywood's Rock Walk inductees are chosen solely by past honorees through secret ballot. In this way, inductees are chosen by those who are best able to gauge his or her contribution to Rock 'n Roll. Hollywood's Rock Walk has a minimum of four inductees per year. All inductions are generally open to the public.

Some of Hollywood Rock Walk's past inductees are Aerosmith, Ginger Baker, Chuck Berry, Black Sabbath, Johnny Cash, Dick Clark, Bo Diddley, The Doobie Brothers, Stevie Wonder, Willie Dixon, Leo Fender, Marvin Gaye, Jimi Hendrix, Buddy Holly, B.B. King, Little Richard, Keith Moon, Ozzy Osbourne, Roy Orbison, Les Paul, Elvis Presley, John Lee Hooker, The Moody Blues, Phil Ramone, Carl Perkins, Smokey Robinson, and Alex and Eddie Van Halen, to name a few.

Hollywood's Rock Walk is located in the heart of Hollywood at 7435 Sunset Blvd. in the outer lobby of Hollywood's Guitar Center.  It is open to the public Monday-Friday 10am - 9pm, Saturday 10am - 6pm and Sunday 11am-6pm.
